Description

Witch’s Brew Iced Coffee is a magical, spiced cold brew perfect for a refreshing caffeine boost with a twist. Infused overnight with aromatic cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, nutmeg, and a hint of vanilla, this creamy hazelnut drink offers a rich, flavorful experience ideal for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Cold Brew Base

  • 7 cups Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew Coffee
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 package (2 coffee packs) Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew Coffee

Spices

  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 6 stars of whole star anise
  • 1 teaspoon fresh nutmeg, grated

Flavoring and Creamer

  • 1/2 cup hazelnut creamer
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare cold brew base: In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups of cold water with 1 package (2 coffee packs) of Dunkin’ Donuts Cold Brew Coffee to start your cold brew infusion.
  2. Add spices and steep: Add 5 cinnamon sticks, 1 tablespoon of whole cloves, 6 star anise, and 1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg to the pitcher. Stir gently to mix and allow the mixture to steep overnight (about 7 hours) to fully infuse the flavors.
  3. Strain coffee concentrate: The next morning, remove the coffee packs. Strain the brewed coffee through a fine mesh strainer to remove all the whole spices and any sediment for a smooth beverage.
  4. Adjust dilution: Pour the strained coffee back into the pitcher and add 3 more cups of cold water to reach the desired volume and strength of your iced coffee.
  5. Add creamer and vanilla: Stir in ½ cup of hazelnut creamer and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract into the cold brew mix to add a rich, creamy, and aromatic finish.
  6. Serve: Pour the Witch’s Brew Iced Coffee over ice cubes in glasses and enjoy this refreshing, spiced cold coffee delight.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, reduce the amount of added water after steeping.
  • Adjust the quantity of spices based on your preference for spice intensity.
  • Can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
  • Use lactose-free or plant-based creamers as an alternative for dairy-free options.
  • Serve with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon for added garnish if desired.
