Fudge Base
- ¾ cup strawberry cake mix (90 grams)
- 2 cups white chocolate chips (340 grams)
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (396 grams, 1 can)
Optional
- Sprinkles, for topping
Instructions
- Heat Cake Mix: Place the strawberry cake mix in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 30-second intervals in the microwave. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature; the center should reach 165°F to ensure the raw flour is safe to consume.
- Melt White Chocolate: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips by microwaving them in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth, stirring in between to prevent burning.
- Mix Ingredients: Stir the heated strawberry cake mix and sweetened condensed milk into the melted white chocolate until the mixture is uniform and smooth.
- Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil for easy removal and pour the fudge mixture evenly into the pan.
- Add Sprinkles: Evenly sprinkle your choice of sprinkles on top to decorate and add texture.
- Chill Fudge: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour, or until the fudge is completely set and firm to the touch.
Notes
- Storage: Store strawberry fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 weeks, in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
