- Melt Butter: Gently melt the butter in a separate small saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, turn off the heat and hold until the milk reaches 195°F.
- Combine Milk and Flour Paste: Once the milk reaches 195°F, stir the flour mixture into the melted butter, forming a thick paste. Gradually add this paste into the hot milk, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to boil.
- Cook the Porridge: Reduce the heat to low and cook the mixture for an additional 5 minutes, stirring often until it is thickened to a pudding-like consistency. Remove from heat.
- Serve: Spoon the rømmegrøt into individual bowls, drizzle with warm melted butter, and sprinkle generously with cinnamon-sugar. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
