Description

This Peach and Burrata Caprese Salad is a delightful twist on the classic Caprese, featuring juicy ripe peaches, creamy burrata, fresh basil, and a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It’s a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Peach and Burrata Caprese Salad:

  • 23 medium to large ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 8ounce ball of burrata, whole or torn
  • 1 small bundle of basil (around 1012 leaves)
  • Flakey salt and black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Drizzle of balsamic vinegar to finish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Wash, pit, and slice the peaches. Arrange them on a serving platter.
  2. Assemble the Salad: Add burrata to the platter, arrange basil leaves on top.
  3. Final Touches: Drizzle olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sprinkle salt and pepper.
  4. Serve: Enjoy as is, or with toast, as a side, on protein, or on a cheese board.

Notes

  • You can add toasted nuts like walnuts or almonds for extra crunch.
  • For a sweeter version, drizzle with honey instead of balsamic vinegar.
