Description

This Oreo Peppermint Bark is a delightful holiday treat featuring creamy white chocolate mixed with crushed Oreos and festive peppermint pieces, topped with a drizzle of rich milk chocolate. Perfect for gifting or serving at parties, this easy-to-make bark is crunchy, minty, and deliciously sweet.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate

  • 16 ounces white chocolate (I used Candiquik)
  • 2 tablespoons milk chocolate

Add-ins

  • 15 Oreos, divided
  • 1/4 cup Andes Peppermint Pieces

Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: Gently melt the white chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly to ensure it becomes smooth and prevents burning.
  2. Mix in Crushed Oreos: Crush 12 of the Oreos finely and stir them into the melted white chocolate until well combined.
  3. Spread Mixture: Pour and spread the Oreo-white chocolate mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper, creating an even layer approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos and Andes Peppermint Pieces evenly over the top of the spread mixture. Set aside to allow it to harden at room temperature.
  5. Drizzle Milk Chocolate: Melt the milk chocolate separately and drizzle it artistically over the hardened bark for added flavor and decoration. Let the bark harden completely.
  6. Break and Store: Once fully set, break the bark into pieces. Store the pieces in an airtight container at room temperature to keep them fresh.

Notes

  • Use good quality white and milk chocolate for best flavor and texture.
  • Make sure to stir constantly while melting chocolate to prevent scorching.
  • Set the bark in a cool place to speed up hardening if needed.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container to maintain crispness and flavor.
