Apples:
- 6 sweet apples
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp coconut oil
Crumble:
- 2/3 cup oats
- 2/3 cup pecans
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp honey
Instructions
- Chop the apples: Slice apples and sauté them in a pan with cinnamon, salt, and coconut oil over medium-high heat, covered, for 2-3 minutes.
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180C/350F.
- Make the crumble: In a food processor, blend oats, pecans, coconut oil, honey, and water until crumbly.
- Assemble: Spread sautéed apples in a baking pan, top with crumble mixture, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving with milk, yogurt for breakfast, or ice cream for dessert.
