Description

This Healthy Breakfast Apple Crumble is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. Sweet apples are topped with a crunchy oat and pecan crumble for the perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Apples:

  • 6 sweet apples
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Crumble:

  • 2/3 cup oats
  • 2/3 cup pecans
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Chop the apples: Slice apples and sauté them in a pan with cinnamon, salt, and coconut oil over medium-high heat, covered, for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180C/350F.
  3. Make the crumble: In a food processor, blend oats, pecans, coconut oil, honey, and water until crumbly.
  4. Assemble: Spread sautéed apples in a baking pan, top with crumble mixture, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving with milk, yogurt for breakfast, or ice cream for dessert.
