- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons ground pepper
Seasoning Blend:
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 package Italian-style salad dressing mix, dry
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice from jar

Instructions
- Prep the Roast: Rub the roast with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Prepare Seasoning Blend: Whisk together beef broth, oregano, basil, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, salad dressing mix, red pepper flakes, and pepperoncini juice. Pour over the roast.
- Cook: Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Remove bay leaf and shred meat with an hour left. Continue cooking.
