Description

Delightful Cranberry Brie Bites featuring creamy brie, tangy cranberry sauce, and crunchy pecans nestled in buttery crescent dough. Perfect as elegant appetizers for holidays or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Pastry

  • 1 (8-oz.) tube crescent dough
  • Cooking spray, for greasing the muffin tin
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting surface

Filling

  • 1 (8-oz.) wheel of brie, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted unsalted pecans
  • 6 sprigs fresh rosemary, cut into 1 inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Muffin Tin: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin using cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Roll and Cut Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the crescent dough and carefully pinch together the seams to seal. Cut the dough into 24 equal squares. Press each square firmly into a muffin cup, creating a little dough cup for the filling.
  3. Assemble the Bites: Place a small piece of brie into each dough cup. Spoon about a teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce on top of the brie. Sprinkle chopped roasted pecans over the sauce, then top each bite with a 1-inch piece of fresh rosemary for an aromatic finish.
  4. Bake: Bake the assembled bites in the preheated oven until the pastry turns golden brown and the brie is melted, approximately 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Use whole berry cranberry sauce for texture and vibrant flavor, but you can substitute with your favorite cranberry preserves if needed.
  • If brie rind is too thick or undesired, you may trim it before cutting into pieces.
  • Let the bites cool slightly before serving as the cheese will be very hot right out of the oven.
  • These bites are best served warm but can be made ahead and reheated gently before serving.
  • Fresh rosemary adds a bright, piney note—omit it if you prefer a milder flavor.
