For Roasted Garlic
- 2 bulbs Garlic bulbs
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Creamy Roasted Garlic Sauce
- 3 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon Roasted garlic
- 1.5 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Chicken powder
- Thyme & parsley (optional)
- Salt & pepper
More
- 2 cups Shredded rotisserie chicken
- 3 large Flour tortillas
- 1 cup Shredded cheddar &; mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a whole garlic bulb by slicing off the top to expose the cloves. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Wrap in foil or place in a small ovenproof dish, then roast for about 30 minutes until the cloves are tender and golden. Let cool.
- Prepare the garlic: Once cooled, squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves and mash them into a paste.
- Make the sauce: Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mashed garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream, add chicken powder, and stir in thyme and parsley if using. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add chicken and season: Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir in shredded chicken until evenly coated and heated through.
- Assemble the wrap: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon the creamy garlic chicken mixture into the center of the tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the filling.
- Roll the wrap: Fold the bottom edge over the fillings and roll tightly from bottom to top, keeping everything snug inside.
- Crisp the wrap: Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until similarly golden and the cheese inside is melted.
- Serve: Remove from skillet, slice if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Use fresh herbs like thyme and parsley for a brighter flavor, or skip if unavailable.
- The key to a crispy wrap is to cook it seam-side down first to seal and crunch the outside.
- You can prepare the garlic roasting step in advance for quicker assembly.
- Oven-bake the assembled wraps at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes for an alternative crispy texture.
