- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or diced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper OR 1 teaspoon finely chopped, canned chipotle pepper (optional)
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds skirt, flank, or flap steak

Carne Asada Fries
- 1 28-ounce bag frozen fries
- 1 to 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- Chopped cilantro, optional for topping
- 1 jalapeno, sliced, optional for topping
Instructions
- Carne Asada Marinade – Combine all marinade ingredients. Marinate meat for at least 4 hours, up to 24 hours.
- Carne Asada – Broil meat for 4-6 minutes per side until desired doneness. Let rest before slicing.
- Fries – Bake fries, then assemble with carne asada and cheese. Bake until cheese is melted. Top with guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro, and jalapenos if desired. Serve and enjoy!
