Chicken:

  • 1 1/22 lb chicken breast (3-4 chicken breasts), boneless, skinless

Seasoning:

  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/81/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • olive oil/oil spray
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare Seasoning: Combine paprika, garlic powder, cracked pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
  2. Prep Chicken: Pound chicken to even thickness. Pat dry, then coat with olive oil and the spice rub.
  3. Cook in Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 360°F. Cook chicken for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  4. Add BBQ Sauce: Coat chicken with BBQ sauce and air fry for 1-2 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
